    Chess Camp: Tactics & Strategies for Beginning to Intermediate

    This chess camp is for players that need the next level of challenge from their school club. Maybe you’re ready to “try” tournament play. Maybe you want to “improve” your tournament play. Standard chess and variations will be used to improve your skills. Participants should be interested in a deeper level of instruction beyond the basics. Presented by CSGA Enrichment. Please note: This is for Middle School students. Summer Day Camp Reduced Fees & Financial Assistance: Youth who are residing within District boundaries and currently qualify for educational benefits are eligible for a limited number of sessions per participant at reduced fees for qualifying Summer Day Camps at Turtle Lake.     Challenge your mind and body this summer. We will play chess to make our brains sweat and play physical games to make our bodies sweat. We will split our activities to keep both our heads and hearts active! Chess skills will cover the beginner to an intermediate player and physical games may include badminton, pickleball, tag games and other games based on the ability level and mix of the group.
