    Learn the ins and outs of 3D Design and 3D printing with TinkerCAD! TinkerCAD will teach you 3D design and 3D printing! While learning 3D design skills, students will make custom D&D D4s (4-sided) and D10s (10-sided). They'll also do fun D&D-inspired challenges in TinkerCAD's SimLab. This class is for students who have no or limited experience with 3D Printing and is ideal for students who like to draw, design and see their creations come to life. Students will learn the ropes of 3D modeling and printing using Tinkercad to design their jewelry or wearables creations from scratch, 2 of which they get to print and take home. To allow everyone to print their creations, items may have to be scaled down to allow printing during class times.     Calling all game developers! Students in this camp enjoy creating their own games with character, enemy and plot development. Using the Bloxels Edu system, they turn their game ideas into a digital video game. They will use a special game board and blocks to design the characters, levels, and other art for their games. They then capture their creations using the Bloxels app, where they edit and customize their game, deciding how each of the elements interact and behave. Students will walk away with a fun playable game on a tablet or computer, and invaluable experience with logic and programming. Presented by Engineering for Kids.     Chain reactions! Design and build amazing moving machines and teach our Lego bricks new tricks! With an active imagination as your guide, there are endless possibilities. Students working in pairs will learn about physics and engineering concepts such as Velocity, Projectiles, Trajectories, Force, Motion, and more. Every day students will learn new ways to combine Legos to cause different chain reactions and, on the last day, design their own Rube Goldberg Machine, film editing basics and how to use Hollywood-style special effects techniques. Possible special effects learned in the class include Star Wars animated lasers, Harry Potter spell-like effects, and other blockbuster effects.     This camp will energize and excite students by combining the LEGO® building system's versatility and the Mindstorms EV3 (the most sophisticated microcomputer brick ever made by LEGO®). Working each day in teams, students will construct fun LEGO® models, experiment with programs, and compete in robotic challenges. Robot building, block programming, and teamwork will be part of each day's activities. The final challenges will be centered around hitting targets and a sumo battle.
