The Drone Maker Engineering Camp is an engaging, hands-on experience that combines theory with practical application. Designed for beginners, students will work in teams of 3 and use special classroom drones to learn about drones, the principles of flight, and their real world applications. Each day, students will engineer their drones to complete a new mission like package delivery, fire fighting and medical missions. Week-Long and 3-Day Horse Day Camps

Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, grooming (including bathing) and care for them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Location: Boulder Ridge Equestrian & Event Center Please note their was a scheduling change since the publication of our summer catalog for the week-long horse camp. The Week long horse camp will now take place Aug 7-11.

Future Knights Boys Basketball Camp

Participate in direct skills training from Irondale High School’s coaching staff & current student athletes. These sessions will be focused on developing the overall skill level of each athlete emphasizing passing, dribbling, offensive and defensive footwork and shooting technique. Participation in sports can, and will, teach young athletes decision-making, commitment, work ethic, discipline and strong work habits. The coaches & players will provide a positive atmosphere where each athlete can fully develop. A camp T-shirt is included in the price of the camp.

It’s time to get your hands dirty and turn your imagination into a forever creation! Learn hand building and techniques such as pinch construction, slab work, coils and more. Growing & Cooking with the Sun

The sun is your best friend if you know how to use it! This class teaches how to cook with just the sun. Solar cooking bypasses traditional cooking means. No electricity, gas, charcoal, or wood needed for solar cooking. Students will learn how to cook meals, dry food for preservation, and purify water all with the sun. In the end, students will build their own mini sun oven and take home a micro green plant.. Presented by GoSolar! Kidz. Scratch Coding & Computer

This camp offers a crash course in coding your own games on Scratch. Students will create and develop 3-4 basic games while learning many foundational computer science skills with boundless potential for creativity and expansion. Tailored for the beginner with little to no experience coding on Scratch, we will begin with the basics and have students creating their own detailed, personalized games by the end of the week. Who doesn’t love a delicious sweet treat? Learn to make your favorite desserts from scratch.
