    Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, grooming (including bathing) and care for them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders.     Participate in direct skills training from Irondale High School’s coaching staff & current student athletes. These sessions will be focused on developing the overall skill level of each athlete emphasizing passing, dribbling, offensive and defensive footwork and shooting technique.     It’s time to get your hands dirty and turn your imagination into a forever creation! Learn hand building and techniques such as pinch construction, slab work, coils and more. Students will create their own version of the project, perhaps a functional bowl, cup, plate, and/ or sculptural fantastical creatures, imaginary scenes, decor and more.     The sun is your best friend if you know how to use it! This class teaches how to cook with just the sun. Solar cooking bypasses traditional cooking means. No electricity, gas, charcoal, or wood needed for solar cooking. Students will learn how to cook meals, dry food for preservation, and purify water all with the sun. In the end, students will build their own mini sun oven and take home a micro green plant.. Presented by GoSolar! Kidz.
