  • MN High School E-Sports

    Join the Mounds View Public Schools Esports and compete against other high schools run through Minnesota Varsity League (MMVL)! Each season begins with 2 (two) weeks of preseason, followed by 8 (eight) weeks of regular season and State Finals. Each game is scheduled to be played weekly. See the dates and times below. Your team and coach will virtually check-in with each other on a weekly basis and you will be required to practice with your team 4-8+ hours a week. MNVL Games include: ● SSBU 3v3 (Crew Battle) ● Minecraft 4v4 ● Smite ● SSB 1v2 ● Minecraft 4v4 ● Chess ● Rocket League 3v3 ● Mario Kart 8 (club) ● Fortnite - No Builds (club) You will need to have the required console/computer to compete.     Do you have a great idea for a novel, but don’t know how to begin? Or, perhaps you have begun, but you don’t know how to finish? Either way, this program will help you structure, plan, and flesh out your novel. We will work on outlining, plot, characterization, and vivid descriptions. You will leave the class with the tools to both start and finish that novel you are meant to write. Presented by CSGA Enrichment.     Scratch Coding & Computer

    This camp offers a crash course in coding your own games on Scratch. Students will create and develop 3-4 basic games while learning many foundational computer science skills with boundless potential for creativity and expansion. Tailored for the beginner with little to no experience coding on Scratch, we will begin with the basics and have students creating their own detailed, personalized games by the end of the week. Students will come home with a mobile account containing their games to share and play with the whole family! Presented by CSGA Enrichment.     Adult Day Trips

    Embark on hassle-free adult day trips across Minnesota. We provide transportation, lunch and cover all tour and ticket expenses. Explore scenic wonders and cultural gems, creating lasting memories with fellow adventurers. From the North Shore’s breathtaking landscapes to Minneapolis’ cultural richness, our trips offer enriching experiences. Join us for stress-free adventures, ensuring a day filled with joy, discovery and camaraderie. Detailed schedule and description available online Activity Mobility level for each Trip Level Expectation Description Level 1: Easy Expectations: This tour requires light physical activity. Tour members should expect intermittent walking, with occasional slight inclines and stair climbs, including boarding the motor coach, boat/ferry, tram, etc. There will be some walking to general points of interest. Guests should be able to climb a set of stairs, walk up or down slight slopes and navigate some uneven terrain. Appropriate for: All participants including those with lower mobility and who are comfortable participating in at least three hours of activity per day. Level 2: Moderate Expectations: This tour requires moderate physical activity. Participants should expect a moderate amount of walking. There will be time to rest between activities. To enjoy this tour, you should be prepared to walk slightly longer distances, climb stairs and tolerate periods of standing, for example on walking tours, sightseeing stops, etc. Appropriate for: Most participants beginning with those who are moderately fit, lead semi-active lives, are comfortable participating in long days of activities and expect some moderate physical activity Level 3: Active Expectations: This tour requires a high level of physical activity The tour includes well-paced walking tours, hikes, stairs, moderate slopes with regular breaks. Up to 2-3 hours of walking during trip. To fully take advantage of all this tour has to offer, guests need to be able to walk longer distances, climb several flights of stairs and navigate steps and uneven terrain walking for extended periods of time over more difficult terrain (e.g. cobblestones, city hills, stairs without handrails, limited or no access to elevators). Excursions require standing and walking for long periods of time where motorized vehicles may be prohibited. Appropriate for: Participants who are physically fit, expect a vigorous pace and enjoy participating in two to three hours of physical activity per day.

With new instructors, new topics and one centralized camp site, students will be able to try new things, meet new people and grow. MORNING AND AFTERNOON CARE Reduce some summer stress with our extended morning drop-off hour and afternoon pick-up hour included in your summer camp registration! Campers can be dropped off as early as 8 a.m. and picked up as late as 5 p.m. giving families a little more flexibility in their day. LUNCH BUNCH Create a full day of fun with the Lunch Bunch program. For families looking for full-day options, the Lunch Bunch program is a perfect way to connect morning and afternoon camps. Lunch Bunch provides a supervised lunch hour and playground time. Students are required to bring their own lunch. Registration is in addition to camp registration, and the cost is $10 per week. FIELD TRIP FRIDAYS Experience high-quality supervision and a new field trip destination every Friday with our Field Trip Fridays! Field trips are $65 per field trip and require students to bring a bag lunch.
