    Come play fun music with your friends! Jazz Band will give students an opportunity to explore new types of music and new styles of playing in a fun, low-pressure environment. Currently open to any 6th grade band student at Chippewa, regardless of instrument. Concert will be on May 2, 2024.     Hack into the code of classic games! Students will learn Java coding skills while modifying games such as Asteroids, Tetris, Snake, and more! Coding beginners and more experienced students will love this class. This fun class is our staff and students' favorite codling class.     Interested in a career in the data sciences fields? Explore data science and artificial intelligence with Wells Fargo in a five-day, hands-on online learning program that will be developed and taught by experienced instructors from the Wells Fargo technical community along with guest lecturers from other businesses. The Program will provide a one week introduction to: Developing intelligent machines with Python Data exploration and visualization techniques Statistical modeling and machine learning.     There has been an amazing discovery! Paleontologists have just uncovered a million-year-old dig site that is full of fossils! These fossils include dinosaur bones, imprints, eggs, and more! Your help is needed to excavate these fossils and move them to museums for kids all over the world to learn about. In these lessons, students will learn about engineering, mathematics, dinosaurs and fossils as they work as paleontologists and engineers. Presented by Engineering for Kids.
