  • Clay Target Club - Mounds View

    Welcome new and returning athletes to the MV Clay Target Club registration site. We are looking forward to an exciting spring session. This co-ed program is offered under the administration of the MN High School Clay Target League. You must be a registered 9-12 grade student at MVHS. Please follow these steps to complete your registration for MV Clay Target Club: 1. New team members interested in participating must notify the team coach for access prior to registering. Please email mvclaytargetclub@gmail.com to obtain the access code/information for registration on the League Site. Returning students will be sent an email for registration from the league. (please email the team coach, if any problems) 2. Once the coach has given you access, registration instructions will be provided by email. Everyone who was previously on the email list will automatically receive registration instructions by March 1, 2024. If you have any problems, please send a note to mvclaytargetclub@gmail.com . 3. After you receive the registration instructions, register on the Mounds View Community Education (MVCE) website by noon March 25, 2024. The $190.00 registration/team/round fees will be collected by MVCE. The fees include the $10 MVCE fee + $180 team fee, which includes two rounds/week (8 weeks x $18/week), booster fee. 4. Use the registration instructions provided by email to also register on the MN Clay Target League website, The league registration fee is $40 and will be collected by MN Clay Target League when you register by noon on March 25, 2024. *** You must register on both the MVCE website and on the MN Clay Target League website at “claytargetgo.com by noon on March 25, 2024 for your registration to be complete. *** If you have any questions about the registration process or did not receive registration instructions, please email Mark Kingsriter at mvclaytargetclub@gmail.com Please note: The MV Clay Target Club uses the MN Hunter Safety certificate. All athletes must have a MN Hunter Safety certificate (or prior SAFE Certificate) and your own shotgun (12 or 20) to participate - Safety is always first! We are so thankful for our relationship with Federal. We are planning on $90/case, but that is subject to change and there will be a limit on the cases – TBD. Team Shirts – New athletes will be required to purchase a team shirt. The fee for the Team Shirt is $50.00. If you need a replacement or have outgrown your shirt, let me know. Spring Scoring – FYI – The Trap League has gone back to the original scoring procedures. The scores for the weekly shoot have to be input by Saturday at 9pm for that week, or it does not get entered. Please plan on shooting on our scheduled time for Sundays. If you have a job, please plan accordingly.
  • Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Camp

    Interested in a career in the data sciences fields? Explore data science and artificial intelligence with Wells Fargo in a five-day, hands-on online learning program that will be developed and taught by experienced instructors from the Wells Fargo technical community along with guest lecturers from other businesses. The Program will provide a one week introduction to: Developing intelligent machines with Python Data exploration and visualization techniques Statistical modeling and machine learning. This program is a partnership between Mound View Public Schools and Wells Fargo.
  • Irondale Boys Volleyball Team

    This spring, Irondale will once again have a boys volleyball program. We will have 3 - 4 teams playing at different levels in league play. Our goals are to improve our volleyball skills, to have fun and to prepare for next year's first ever official boys volleyball season. Our program is open to all 9th-12th grade boys attending Irondale High School. The official start date is April 1st with practices taking place weekday evenings at Irondale. The match schedules will not be finalized until late January/early February. Matches will occur against Mounds View, Roseville, SLP, Blaine, and other Northern suburban teams. The season will run through the end of the school year. Don't miss your chance to be a part of a new, exciting sport in Minnesota! Game schedule is yet to be determined.   • MN High School E-Sports

    Join the Mounds View Public Schools Esports and compete against other high schools run through Minnesota Varsity League (MMVL)! Each season begins with 2 (two) weeks of preseason, followed by 8 (eight) weeks of regular season and State Finals. Each game is scheduled to be played weekly. See the dates and times below. Your team and coach will virtually check-in with each other on a weekly basis and you will be required to practice with your team 4-8+ hours a week. MNVL Games include: ● SSBU 3v3 (Crew Battle) ● Minecraft 4v4 ● Smite ● SSB 1v2 ● Minecraft 4v4 ● Chess ● Rocket League 3v3 ● Mario Kart 8 (club) ● Fortnite - No Builds (club) You will need to have the required console/computer to compete. You must also have an account for the game that you will be playing (i.e. Riot account for League of Legends), and discord, as you will link these with your League Spot account.   • Mounds View Boys Volleyball Team

    Boys volleyball is on the rise in MN and Mounds View HS is going to join in on the excitement. Volleyball is a fast paced exciting sport that displays and demands both individual and team skills. All MVHS boys, grades 9-12, are welcome to participate. Preseason warm-ups/open gym will start on March 18th. Practices will be three days per week after that and games begin later in April.   • Ultimate Frisbee - Irondale High School

    In 2024, Irondale High School will have an Open team that any Irondale student can join. Ultimate combines the non-stop movement and athletic endurance of soccer with the aerial passing skills of football. A game of Ultimate is played by two seven-player squads with a high-tech plastic disc on a field similar to football. The object of the game is to score by catching a pass in the opponent's end zone while preventing the opposing team from catching a pass in your own end zone.
