3D Printing: Dungeons & Dragons

Learn the ins and outs of 3D Design and 3D printing with TinkerCAD! TinkerCAD will teach you 3D design and 3D printing! While learning 3D design skills, students will make custom D&D D4s (4-sided) and D10s (10-sided). They'll also do fun D&D-inspired challenges in TinkerCAD's SimLab. The custom dies will be printed and sent home. Dies will be printed and sent home at the end of class. Printing and material fees are included. Presented by Tech Academy. Bring your creations to life in this 3D printing class. The ancient craft of jewelry making is brought to the modern world using TinkerCad and 3D printers. Students will learn to build 2D and 3D models on the computer using CAD software. They will design and print a pair of earrings, a ring, or a pendant in this class. 3D Printing introduces students to a new world of possibilities! This class is for students who have no or limited experience with 3D Printing and is ideal for students who like to draw, design and see their creations come to life. Students will learn the ropes of 3D modeling and printing using Tinkercad to design their jewelry or wearables creations from scratch, 2 of which they get to print and take home. To allow everyone to print their creations, items may have to be scaled down to allow printing during class times. Bloxel Builders: Video Game Design

Calling all game developers! Students in this camp enjoy creating their own games with character, enemy and plot development. Using the Bloxels Edu system, they turn their game ideas into a digital video game. They will use a special game board and blocks to design the characters, levels, and other art for their games. They then capture their creations using the Bloxels app, where they edit and customize their game, deciding how each of the elements interact and behave. Students will walk away with a fun playable game on a tablet or computer, and invaluable experience with logic and programming. Presented by Engineering for Kids. Chippewa Jazz Band - 6th Grade

Choose your Own Adventurer is the ultimate sandbox for D&D character creation. Intended for those with little to no experience in D&D, the workshop will walk students through the process of making their very own character from scratch. Not only that, but players will also have the opportunity to test character ideas and options in actual D&D scenarios. Presented by CSGA Enrichment.
