Mounds View Public Schools Community Education

Introduce your student to a game that is relatively easy to learn but has a lifetime of learning potential.  Participants will learn the rules of the game and be introduced to basic strategies and tactics.  Half of our time will be spent on learning and half will be spent on playing each other and practicing.  Etiquette, fair play and sportsmanship will be emphasized in both winning and losing!  Parents: Students are not to arrive more than 10 minutes before Chess begins. We do not have school staff available to supervise students that arrive any earlier.
